About Mountain Gate Tennis Club
Mountain Gate Tennis Club was established in 1960 and plays at Reta Matthews Reserve, Ferntree Gully, beside the Blind Creek trail, on eight floodlit courts (six en tout cas and two synthetic). Courts are free for members in daylight and can be booked by the community, including at night with lights. Social tennis runs Monday and Friday from 9:30 to 11:30am and Wednesday from 7 to 9pm, and the club enters Waverley District junior and senior competitions, Tennis Victoria pennant and Knox District night tennis. Triple Ace Tennis Coaching, led by Jamie Gill, runs coaching, cardio tennis and ANZ Hot Shots.
