Plain-English definitions, in AllSquads’ own terminology
- Term program
- A class that runs across a fixed set of weekly sessions within a term (schedule_type = 'term'). Billing, make-up sessions and pro-rata joining are all driven by this schedule type.
- Drop-in / recurring
- A class that repeats on a schedule without a fixed term end date - players book individual sessions rather than enrolling in a whole term.
- Camp
- A schedule type for holiday or intensive programs - typically daily capacity across a fixed block of dates, bookable by single day or the whole block.
- Pro-rata pricing
- An automatically calculated reduced rate for a player joining a term program partway through, based on the sessions remaining versus the total sessions in the term.
- Weekly payout
- The Monday transfer of a club's or coach's accrued bookings (classes, court hire, memberships, session packs, subscriptions) to their own connected Stripe account, with the platform fee already netted off.
- Platform fee
- The fee AllSquads charges a coach or club, deducted from their weekly payout. It is set by subscription tier - see /pricing - and is separate from the booking fee a player pays at checkout.
- Booking fee
- The fee a player pays at checkout when booking a class, driven by class type. This is separate from the platform fee a coach or club pays.
- Make-up session
- An entitlement issued instead of (or alongside) a credit when a term-class session is cancelled, letting the player attend a replacement session rather than receiving money back.
