Futsal competition and booking software

TL;DR

  • A court turned over three times an evening is three sales, and every one of them has to happen before the doors open.
  • Competition nights sell in advance as blocks; the court itself sells by the slot in between.
  • Regulars buy in bulk through session packs rather than paying at the door every week.
  • Several venues run from one account without three separate calendars and three separate deposits.

Futsal is a fast game run in a hurry. An indoor venue can turn a court over three times in an evening, which means the difference between a good night and a bad one is whether the slot was sold before the doors opened. Almost everything a futsal operator sells is time-boxed and repeatable: a competition night, a junior block, a school-holiday session, and the court hours nobody has claimed yet.

Competition nights sold in advance

A weekly competition night runs on a fixed evening across a season, which is a term-shaped enrolment: fixed start, fixed end, sessions generated from the pattern, and one price for the run. Set capacity to what the court and the draw can actually take, and the booking flow stops selling past it. Where a venue prefers to sell nights individually, drop-in pricing puts a single evening on sale at its own price, and that player shows on the same roster as the season entrants and counts against the same capacity.

Junior programs

Junior futsal tends to be sold as a short block, often shorter than a school term, and to a mix of families who play outdoor football in winter and want something indoors over summer. That audience will try before it commits, so a free trial session can be turned on for a class, limited automatically to one per player per class so nobody has to police it. Age-based groups are typically split by school stage rather than by a formal national grid, and each group is simply its own class with its own capacity and price.

Selling the court itself

The hours between competition and coaching are worth real money and are usually the ones sold badly. Facility hire lets a group book a court directly: a date, a specific court, a start time in half-hour blocks, checked against live availability so an already-taken slot is never offered. Member and casual rates are separate, and an evening rate can differ from a daytime one. A workplace team that plays every Thursday can set the booking to repeat for up to twelve weeks and cancel the series in one action when the season ends.

Selling in bulk to regulars

Futsal regulars play often and hate paying every time. A session pack sells five or ten credits up front which the player then books against, and discount tiers can automatically reduce the per-session price when someone books several at once. A membership product goes further, applying a member price at checkout without a code, with expiry and renewal notifications handled for you. Both work alongside straightforward pay-as-you-go, which is what most casual players will still use.

Seasons that roll into the next one

Where a competition runs season after season with largely the same entrants, players can opt in to automatic re-entry at the point they book. The toggle sits under the season option in the booking modal and defaults to whatever the venue set for that competition, and a player can change their mind at checkout or later from their own booking page. The charge is processed seven days before the current run ends, so the venue knows its numbers before it makes the draw rather than after. If a card has expired the player is notified immediately and can update it and complete the renewal themselves. Where several seasons are published in advance, a player can subscribe across all of them in one action and be billed at the start of each, with a per-season discount applied if the venue has set one.

Running more than one venue

Operators frequently have two or three sites and staff who work across them. Multiple venues run from one account with their own settings and their own coaches, and staff permissions range from view-only through managing only assigned classes to full club access, so a venue supervisor sees their own bookings without seeing the whole business. Everything still settles into one weekly payout, in the week after it was taken, with an itemised list behind it.

Which setup fits you?

Your evening is sold or wasted by six o'clock

Good fit

Then a page that takes money at any hour is the single biggest change. The slot filled at eleven the night before is revenue you were not getting from a phone that stops being answered at five.

You want the competition draw and results run from here

Worth knowing

They are not. There is no draw, no ladder and no results table anywhere on the platform. Entries, the money and the court hours are what move across; the competition itself stays where you run it now.

Most of your income is corporate and casual team bookings

Worth knowing

Workable, and packs help, but check how those teams actually pay you. A pack is bought by one person and drawn down by them, so where a different player pays each week, the bulk mechanism does less for you than straight per-slot booking does.
