Table tennis club and coaching software
For the clubs running coaching squads, club nights and pennant out of one hall
1st month free. A card is required to start, and nothing is charged until your free month ends. The free profile and free tiers never need one.
TL;DR
- Four products compete for the same tables: coached squads, club night, pennant fixtures and practice hire.
- Squads run as term blocks, so a holiday that falls mid-term leaves the schedule and the charge together.
- Practice time sells in half-hour blocks with a members rate and an evening rate, and only genuinely free time is offered.
- A regular can repeat a weekly booking for up to twelve weeks and cancel the whole series in one action.
A table tennis club is usually one hall, a fixed number of tables, and a week that fills up fast. Coached squads want the same two evenings every term. Club night wants the whole floor. Pennant wants specific tables on a specific night for a fixture that was drawn months ago. And somewhere in that, a junior's parent wants to know whether there is a spot on Thursday. AllSquads exists to take that week off a whiteboard and put it somewhere players can book from directly.

The week a table tennis club actually has to schedule
Most clubs are juggling four different things against a fixed number of tables. Coached junior and adult squads run in blocks that follow the school term. Club night is open play, sometimes graded, sometimes not. Pennant or graded team fixtures land on set evenings and cannot move. And in the gaps there is table time that members want to book for practice or a hit with a friend. Every one of those is a different product with a different price and a different way of filling up, which is why a single spreadsheet stops working almost immediately.
Coached squads run as term enrolments
Set the term start and end and the evenings the squad runs, and the platform generates every session in the block. Term dates that land on public holidays can be excluded during setup, and Australian public holidays are flagged for you to review rather than left to catch later; players are not charged for an excluded session. If you turn pro-rata on for a squad, a player who joins in week five pays only for the sessions that are left, and sees exactly that at checkout as an adjusted price with the remaining session count beside it. Leave it off and the full block price applies, which is what most clubs want for a graded squad that has already started.
- Term start, term end and the weekly pattern generate the sessions
- Excluded dates are shown to players and are not charged
- Pro-rata is a per-squad setting, not a platform-wide rule
- A price change applies to new enrolments only, never retroactively
Club nights, one-off events and open sessions
Club night is a one-off session repeated, not a term commitment, so it runs as its own bookable session with its own capacity. Set the capacity to the number of players your tables can genuinely take and the platform stops selling past it. A visiting-coach evening, a handicap tournament or a season-opening night can be published as a single dated session, and can be public, link-only, or invite-only if it is a members-only night.
Table bookings between the fixtures
Table time is sold as facility hire rather than as a class: players pick a date, a table and a start time in half-hour blocks, and only genuinely free time is offered. Members can be charged a different rate to visitors, and an evening rate can differ from a daytime one, so a peak Thursday slot is not priced like a Tuesday afternoon. A player who practises the same hour every week can set the booking to repeat weekly or fortnightly for up to twelve weeks and cancel the whole series in one go if their circumstances change.
What a table tennis club is selling, side by side
Three of these live on the same club page and the same weekly payout, but they behave differently, and the difference is worth being deliberate about before you publish.
| Format | Booked as | When it is full | If the date moves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coached squad | One enrolment for the whole term block | Waitlist opens automatically | Everyone is notified and can cancel for a full credit |
| Club night | A single dated session | Waitlist opens automatically | Notified; the session simply moves |
| Table hire | Half-hour blocks, weekly or fortnightly repeats | The slot disappears from availability | The player reschedules or cancels the series |
Juniors, veterans and the people in between
Table tennis has an unusually wide age range in the same room, and clubs typically split coaching into a beginner junior group, a development group and an adult or veterans session rather than by a national age grid. A parent with two children runs one account with a profile for each and books both in a single checkout. Offering a free trial session on a squad is a per-class setting, limited to one per player per class, so a first-timer can try Thursday before committing to a term.
Which setup fits you?
Your hall is the constraint and the whiteboard is the schedule
Good fitThis is written for that. Every format above draws from the same table availability, so a pennant fixture blocking Thursday is visible to the person trying to book practice on Thursday, without anyone maintaining a second copy of the week.
You want pennant ladders, results or grading maintained here
Worth knowingThey are not here and will not be. Fixtures, ladders and grading stay wherever your association keeps them. What comes across is the table time those fixtures occupy and the money for everything else you sell in the hall.
Most of your hall time is one association's allocation, not yours
Worth knowingThen the value depends on how much of the week you actually control. If the association books the hall and you only run two coached evenings inside it, publish those two and leave the rest alone; a booking page over hours you cannot release will contradict itself the first week.

Where AllSquads fits in a table tennis club
AllSquads is booking, payment and admin software for sports clubs and coaches. For a table tennis club it is the public page players find, the enrolment and payment flow behind it, the roster the coach opens on the night, and the weekly transfer to the club account. Coaching squads, club nights and table hire all sit on the same calendar rather than in three different systems.
