Camps and multi-day programs
A block of days sold as a block, or by the day

TL;DR
- The days you pick are the days it runs; a gap in the middle does not make it two programs.
- Sell it whole, by the week, or by the day, and let the three kinds of family book themselves.
- Move the dates and every enrolled player is told and can leave with full credits.
- A full block queues the next family automatically, which matters because block cancellations arrive in clusters.
- It is the same engine underneath a holiday camp; the school-holiday version just has a different audience.
A camp is a multi-day intensive: a defined set of dates run as one program, with players enrolling for the whole thing or for part of it. It is the format that most often gets run as "a group class, but I'll handle the bookings myself", because a camp's dates are not a weekly recurrence and its pricing is not per session.
Dates that do not have to be consecutive
You define the camp's days directly, and they do not have to run back to back - a program across two weeks with a gap in the middle is one camp, not two. That matters because the alternative is splitting it into separate classes and then reconciling who booked which half.
Three ways to price the same camp
How a camp is sold is a decision about your program rather than a limitation of the software.
- A full-camp price for the whole block
- Per-week pricing, if the camp spans multiple weeks configured separately
- A day rate, if individual days are purchasable
Capacity and waitlists
Capacity is set per camp. A full camp shows as full and opens a waitlist automatically, and a place that frees up is offered to the next family in the queue. For a camp this matters more than for a weekly class: holiday-program cancellations tend to arrive in a cluster close to the start date, and the waitlist is what turns them back into revenue without anyone working a phone list.
If the dates have to move
Changing a camp's dates shifts the whole program, and enrolled players are notified and given the option to cancel for full credits. That is deliberate: a family who booked a specific week of the holidays has not agreed to a different week, and the honest handling of that is to tell them and let them out rather than to move them silently.
How it differs from a holiday camp
They run on the same engine - a holiday camp is a camp scheduled into a school holiday period. The separate page exists because the holiday version has its own audience and its own considerations, not because the platform treats it differently. If you are running a multi-day program that is not tied to school holidays - a pre-season block, a development week, an off-season intensive - this is the page that describes it.
Who it suits
Coaches and clubs running pre-season blocks, development weeks, intensives and multi-day clinics. If your camps currently live in a form and a spreadsheet because your booking tool only understands weekly classes, this is the format built for them.
Which setup fits you?
You run pre-season blocks or development weeks off the school calendar
Good fitThis is the format for them. Non-consecutive days are a first-class thing here rather than a workaround, so a Monday-Wednesday-Friday block over two weeks stays one program with one roster and one price, instead of six separate classes you then have to reconcile.
You need to move dates quietly and keep the money
Worth knowingThis will not do that, deliberately. Shifting the dates notifies everyone enrolled and offers them a full-credit exit, because somebody who bought a specific week did not buy a different one. If your programs move often, price and schedule for that rather than expecting the software to hide it.
Some families want the whole thing and some want two days
Worth knowingBoth are supported, but the pricing decision is yours and it is worth making deliberately. A day rate alongside a block price is how you capture the parent with two spare days, and it is also how you end up with a block price nobody chooses. Set the day rate so the block is still the better deal.
Your intensives currently live in a form plus a spreadsheet
Good fitThat is the exact gap this closes, and the reason it exists as a separate format. Multi-day programs get run outside the booking system precisely because weekly-class software has nowhere to put them, and then the roster, the money and the contact list end up in three places.
What AllSquads is
AllSquads is booking, payments and admin software for sports coaches and clubs. Players find your classes, book and pay online, and get reminded before every session. You get the roster, the money and the contact record in one place, with a payout to your bank every week. It runs term programs, casual classes, camps, private lessons and court hire side by side, so the whole operation is in one system rather than a booking tool plus a spreadsheet plus a payment app.
