Migrating from v1 & Claiming Your Account

Claiming your account after the v1 migration and what carries over to v2.

If you had an account on the previous version of AllSquads (v1), your account and history have been migrated to the new platform. You don't create a new account — you claim the one that's already been set up for you.

Claiming your account

Migrated members receive a one-time claim link by email. Opening it takes you to the claim page (/auth/claim-account/:token).

  • The link is single-use and expires after a limited window. Once you've claimed your account (or the link expires), it stops working — request a fresh link from the sign-in page if needed.
  • Password sign-in: set a password on the claim page. That password, with your existing email, is how you sign in from then on.
  • Google sign-in: if your v1 email matches a Google account, you don't need to set a password — just choose Continue with Google using the matching email and your account links automatically.

If you try to sign in before claiming, AllSquads prompts you to use your claim link (or sends a new one) rather than treating you as a brand-new user.

What carries over

Everything tied to your v1 account moves with you:

  • Bookings — upcoming and past bookings stay on your account.
  • Classes / enrolments — term enrolments, camps and recurring class memberships carry over.
  • Credits — any credit balance you held is preserved.
  • History — your past attendance and payment history remains visible.

Credits are club-scoped (ADR-039)

Migrated credits are tied to the club you originally booked with — the same club-scoped rule that applies to all AllSquads credits. A credit issued at Club A can only be redeemed at Club A; it can't be moved to a different club. If you played at more than one club in v1, each club's credits stay with that club.

What's new in v2

A few things work differently from v1 — mostly around payments:

  • Platform-held payments — player payments are processed on the AllSquads platform account and then settled to your club, rather than going straight to the club's own account.
  • One weekly payout — clubs and independent coaches are paid in a single weekly payout every Monday covering the previous week's bookings across all sources (classes, court hire, memberships, pro shop and subscriptions).
  • No separate "Current Balance" — because payments are platform-held and settled weekly, there's no standalone Stripe balance card any more; the Payouts screen shows your Last Payout, Current (accruing) payout and Total Paid Out.

Trouble claiming your account?

  • Link expired or already used — request a new claim link from the sign-in page, or contact your club.
  • Wrong email — if your claim email went to an address you no longer use, contact your club so they can re-issue the link to the correct address.
  • Can't find the email — check spam/junk, then ask your club to resend.
