What is "What's new"?
AllSquads occasionally shows a short announcement about a new feature or an important update. It appears once, in a dismissible pop-up, the next time you load your dashboard after it goes live — you will not see the same announcement again after you close it or open it.
Where to find past announcements
Every announcement that has ever been published stays available on the What's new page, newest first. Reach it from either:
- The Help menu — a "What's new" link
- The notification bell — a "What's new" entry at the top
A small dot appears on either entry point when there is an announcement you have not opened yet. Opening the What's new page clears the dot.
Who sees which announcements
Announcements can be aimed at club staff, coaches, players, or any combination — an update about a new coaching tool, for example, only shows to coaches. If you hold more than one role (say, a club owner who also plays), you will still only see any given announcement once, no matter which of your roles it was aimed at.
Dismissing an announcement
Closing an announcement (the close button or the Escape key) is remembered on your account, not just in your current browser — so it stays dismissed even if you next sign in on a different device.
